Thanks to Bill (Slamf) from Phillyboard for the next two photos. For the 1983-84 pre-season only, the team wore socks with "block" colouring rather than stripes. Three blocks of colours made the sock design. Here is a team photo from the preseason that shows the road colour scheme.
